Asseco Central Europe, the Bratislava-based subsidiary of Europe’s fifth largest software group, has acquired 60% interest in GlobeNet Zrt, a leading player on Hungary’s healthcare IT market. GlobeNet offers IT services to over 60 local healthcare institutions via its MedWorks integrated IT system. GlobeNet posted HUF 855 million revenues in 2009 and employs 51 people. Asseco Group’s revenues totalled EUR 430 million in 2008, Group members provide integrated and innovative IT solutions for the banking, financial, public and healthcare sectors, as well as for small and medium-sized enterprises.
