Selling of Morello Kft. and Morello Land Kft.

The 100% sale of Morello Kft. and Morello Land Kft. to a group of private investors was successfully closed in April, 2021.

Morello Kft., founded in 1990, deals exclusively with organic fruit production in Veszprém county. It leases areas from private individuals and 97 hectares from Morello Land Kft. The plantations grow morellos, apricots, cherries and sea buckthorn. The Group is one of the largest producers of organic morellos, accounting for about third to half of Hungary’s organic morello areas.

The Sellers, Kapos-Füszert Kft. (legal successor of Csopak Holding Rt.) and Zwack Nyrt, the minority owner decided to sell the long-owned shares. In the competitive sales process the group of private investors, led by Mr. György Raskó, agricultural economist, won the right to enter into a contract.
