Acquisition of Infomix Kft.

Hungaropharma Zrt. acquired the 100% shareholding in Infomix Kft in November 2019.

Founded in 1990, Infomix Kft. provides self-developed medical software for doctors, children’s visitor nurses, nurses and assistants employed in basic and specialised healthcare. The software of the company  are customisable, patient documentation applications are compatible with the Electronic Healthcare Service Provision Space that help healthcare professionals in performing administrative tasks more easily and quickly. Today, every second GP practice uses Infomix software.

Hungaropharma Zrt. is the largest player in the Hungarian pharmaceutical wholesale market with its 40% market share. It sells nearly 135 million boxes of medicines annually, with over 2,400 pharmacies and 150 hospitals as clients.

With the acquisition of Infomix Kft., Hungaropharma Zrt. joined the drug supply value chain on a new thread, without affecting pharmacies, with the aim of expanding its services and further developing Infomix Kft as a capital-intensive professional investor.
