In March 2019, Comtech Kft., developing and producing broadband optical and RF telecommunications devices was successfully sold. Founded in 1990, the Company sells its broadband and optical telecommunications devices to all the leading telecommincations service providers operating in Hungary, also exporting them to the countries of the region. Its most important products include headend optical products, optical hubs, DOCSIS 3.1 solutions, broadband amplifiers and monitoring products.

The company was acquired by Hungarian private individuals who previously obtained expertise in the telecommunications industry. Thus another transaction was implemented in Hungary where the buyer was an external management (MBI – Management Buy-In).
